Sexual Health Research

During my Master's in Journalism, my final research project (thesis) was titled "Questioning the Chapel: An Exploration of Sex and Sexuality among Protestant Christians in Western Canada." Having grown up with a religious influence, I have always been fascinated by how people discuss sex and sexuality. And one of the most important pieces of information I learned is this: knowledge is power. The more we know about something, the more likely we are to make decisions that are best for our wellbeing and happiness. 

 

Since my graduate degree, I have maintained a passion for this research through books, conversations, and part-time jobs where I get to share my knowledge in an open-minded, educational, and anti-shame environment.
